Perbadanan Menteri Besar Kelantan (PMBK) was incorporated under the Menteri Besar (Incorporation) Enactment 1950 and is chaired by the Menteri Besar of Kelantan.

PMBK is a corporate agency and the strategic investment arm of the Kelantan State Government, committed to achieving high performance and maintaining credibility. Its role is to acquire, hold and develop strategic assets on behalf of the State Government.

In fulfilling its mandate and responsibilities, PMBK has established a group of companies operating across various sectors to drive the economic development of the state of Kelantan. These sectors include plantation, agriculture, biotechnology, services, infrastructure development, urban development, green technology, business and public welfare.

PMBK is supported by ten subsidiaries and three joint venture companies, including PMBK Development Sdn. Bhd., Kelantan Gold Trade Sdn. Bhd., Kelantan Biotech Corporation Sdn.
